It was only a bright idea ...

Initially the Chamkoria Ski Cup Competition appeared as a good idea for lending colours to the winter holiday of a group of friends, who are ski fans. It was December 30th, 2003 when they decided to organize a ski competition in between. One of them, Miroslav Sevlievski, MP, undertook the organization. The name “Chamkoria” is the result of long hours of fireside talks. But it’s not enough.
The organizers were not satisfied yet and decided to invite the young skiers from the junior ski teams in Samokov. Sponsors were Miroslav Sevlievski, MP, Krassen Kralev and Borislav Guigov. The competition was on January, 2nd, 2004 at 500-metres long “Qstrebets – 2” run. The competitors were 46 and their age ranging between 5 and 45 years. It was really a fantastic experience for all of them, though the children were looking most eagerly forward the start. At the end everyone was awarded. The Rossignol ski-accessories were given both to winners and the other competitors.

After half and an hour they all gathered together at the fast food restaurant near the “Qstrebets-2” run. There was a delicious grill for the hungry skiers. And as all the competitors were brimful with sport gu the sponsors decided to make the Chamkoria Cup Competition a tradition.
